Topics for Policy debate change every year. The current Policy topic is:
Resolved: The United States federal government should substantially increase its security cooperation with the North Atlantic Treaty Organization in one or more of the following areas: artificial intelligence, biotechnology, cybersecurity.
Varsity debaters may run any plan that falls under this resolution; novice debaters are limited to one of the following cases:

- Substantially increase funding for vaccine research
- Ban offensive cyber operations
